2017 Frozen Feet 5K - Saturday, December 10, 2016

Junior Auxiliary of Conway is the Faulkner County chapter of the National Association of Junior Auxiliaries. We are a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, focused on rendering charitable services with an emphasis on the welfare, education, and development of children in the Faulkner County. We assist and support our community by donating our time, funding service projects, and cooperating with other civic organizations. For over 50 years, Junior Auxiliary of Conway has been privileged to initiate and support several programs in our area. In 1964, our Chapter started the Faulkner County Day School, which provides quality services for children with developmental delays or disabilities. Later, in 1986, the chapter was instrumental in starting HAVEN House (Help for Abuse Victims in Need), which provides a safe environment for girls who are victims of abuse, neglect, or abandonment. The chapter is proud to provide monthly support to HAVEN through donating necessities and providing a monthly fellowship meal. Other organizations we provide support for are: Bethlehem House, CAPCA, CASA, and Independent Living Services. Annually, we partner with Conway Regional Health Systems to host Safety Town, a week long summer camp, teaching more than 100 incoming Kindergartners the importance of school, community, and home safety. One of our newest projects is Empower Me, a half-day camp for girls entering 5th and 6th grade. Highlights of the camp include internet safety, inner and outer beauty, and other topics related to the life of a preteen. In order to continue the important outreach and support of the children in our community, we need financial support from individuals and local business. On Saturday, December 10, 2016, Junior Auxiliary of Conway is excited to host our annual Frozen Feet 5K Race, to be held at the Conway High School track. Costumes, jingle bells, hot chocolate, and jolly old St. Nick are just a few reasons this event will be full of holiday spirit and fun for children and adults of all ages. We are asking for your help to ensure this event is a HUGE success. Prayerfully consider becoming one of our sponsors. Your donation is tax-deductible.
